At this time we are only able to accept donations by check. We anticipate securing tax-exempt status as an organization pursuant IRC 501(c)4, but donations to 501(c)4 groups are generally not deductible by the donor. Donations for certain trade and business networking purposes may be deductible. Please consult your tax attorney or accountant.
Donors and donations will be prominently recognized in the “CHAMP Donors” box, unless anonymity is preferred. CHAMP currently seeks donations totaling $2000 to defray start-up costs, nearly half of which are required formation and tax-exempt filing fees. Donors of over $150 will receive free 2014 membership, upon development by the interim board of approval of eligibility criteria and classifications.
Full voting membership is expected to be limited to licensed active medical professionals employed full- or part-time on rotor wing air rescue missions, including both interfacility and prehospital transports. Non-voting associate memberships are anticipated.
Thanks in advance for considering support of CHAMP, the only organization advocating exclusively for provider and patient safety in HEMS.
